Have children count how many in each group, write the number, and circle the greater number.
Have children circle the gray standing animals.  Then have them sort the animals in a different way by drawing an X over the animals with a different pair of attributes in common (e.g. white horses, sitting sheep, etc)
Estimate the length of each path through the park.  Then use paper clips to measure.  
Have children sort the fish by coloring the large fish red; sort the fish in a different way by coloring the group blue.  
Look at the pictures.  In each row, circle the picture that takes more time.  
Write each time two ways.  Clocks are all set to an even hour.

Draw objects that would have lengths of about 2 inches, about 2 feet, and about 2 yards.  How can you check your estimates?  
Classify the triangle. Find the measure of angle.  
Choose the best attribute to measure for each object (e.g. length, weight, capacity)
Find the area of each shape.  
Estimate the length of each line.  Then use paper clips to measure.  
For each exercise, have children look at the clock and write the time to the hour for each activity.  Have children circle the picture using a yellow crayon if it happens in the morning, a red crayon if it happens in the afternoon, and a blue crayon if it happens in the evening.  
Find the perimeter and area of each shape.
