During Morning Meeting, have children help count and write (or draw tally marks, dots, etc.) how many boys and girls are at school today.
Keep track of Monday through Friday's totals at the bottom. At the end of the week, use those numbers to help children compare the daily totals and discuss which days had more/less children.
A great way to introduce addition!
